Together with the Biomedical Research Foundation of NW Louisiana, TASCF helped to start this Shreveport-based company to exploit opportunities arising in food safety and improved industrial hygiene. SteriFx, Inc. is launching a line of antimicrobial rinses and sprays for a variety of uses in food processing, restaurant and related industries. An issued patent and serveral patent applications protect the product's formulations and use. TASCF provided seed capital and participated in the Series B round led by the Cycad Group and joined by the original investor group, including the Louisiana Economic Development Corporation and a number of Shreveport-area angel investors. Mr. Balch serves as a director and the interim CEO. |
